A collection of articles, tips, info and background analysis about the city which, at the beginning of every year, hosts the Cologne Design Week and turns into a buzzing design hotspot with numerous events at galleries and museums – and especially the trade fair. On the one hand the folder focuses on visitors’ interests and provides tips on exhibitions and highlights for art, design and architecture lovers, as well as some useful information about restaurants, hotels and design shopping; on the other hand it paints a portrait of a lively art and design scene away from the events at the fair, provides some affectionate insights into the character of the city and its people and reveals a few of its curiosities.
