Is it really true that the design and furniture sector is moving at an ever faster pace?
A fast pace isn’t a problem as long as it doesn’t generate waste. It’s all right for us to consume if we don’t damage the environment by doing so. Technical materials have to be recycled into mono-materials and used as the starting point for new things. Everything else has to turn to dust, regardless of whether we’re moving ahead quickly or slowly. We have to stop living at the expense of the next generation.
