Statements Eggersmann

The kitchen is again becoming the focal point of the interior landscape. Does that mean kitchen design will continue to turn away from pure functionality so as to exude more cosiness? And what does that mean for you as a kitchen manufacturer when it comes to shapes and materials?
The issue of holistic solutions and sensuous materials has always been part of our company’s philosophy, so it isn’t a new challenge for us. For instance, it’s no problem at all to coordinate our finishes with those of the surroundings or the rest of the furniture – provided that’s what people want, of course. We use colours from the NCS or RAL colour systems, as well as various stains that can be adapted to the colour samples provided by the customer if necessary. Due to increased demand, we’re also making more and more furniture for other areas of the home. Even so, we definitely see ourselves as a manufacturer of kitchen systems. Today the production of top-quality kitchens is so complex that we believe it would be a mistake to try to position ourselves as a manufacturer of living room furniture as well.
